How We Deliver Results

Structured technical alignment helps reduce delivery risk across data platform, reporting, cloud engineering, and analytics initiatives

Our Process

Data platform and modernization initiatives require more than resume screening. They require clear technical alignment from the outset — including scope, platform context, delivery expectations, and the level of ownership required.

At Scalar Solutions, our deployment process is supported by principal-level consultants and internal technical SMEs who work with stakeholders to understand the environment, define capability expectations, and validate fit before candidate presentation.

By reducing non-technical handoffs and maintaining practical delivery oversight throughout the engagement lifecycle, we help clients add senior engineering support with greater clarity, faster onboarding, and stronger execution alignment.

Structured execution ensures predictable outcomes across complex initiatives.

Technical Screening & Deployment Process

Discovery Call:

Every engagement begins with a structured discovery session led by a senior Scalar consultant. During this session, we review:

  • Technical scope

  • Platform and reporting context

  • Delivery objectives

  • Success criteria and stakeholder expectations

This ensures clarity before any engineer or consultant is introduced into the initiative.

Technical Evaluation & Candidate Validation:

Once the scope is approved, our internal technical team activates our engineering network and evaluates candidates against the delivery context.

Each candidate may undergo:

  • Technical review by senior consultants or SMEs

  • Domain and platform relevance validation

  • Scenario-based discussion where appropriate

  • Delivery readiness and communication review

Only candidates aligned to the technical and delivery expectations are presented.

Requirement Draft and Signoff:

Following discovery, we document the technical requirements, delivery expectations, role ownership, and environment context. The requirement summary is shared for client review and approval so the search or deployment effort starts with clear alignment.

This step helps avoid vague role definitions, unnecessary interview cycles, and mismatches between the stated requirement and the actual work.

Interview

We coordinate structured interviews between selected engineers and client stakeholders. Our goal is to present technically aligned candidates quickly while avoiding volume-based submissions that create unnecessary review cycles.

For many defined roles, initial qualified candidates can be presented within 48–72 hours after scope confirmation, depending on role complexity and availability.

Delivery:

Once a candidate is selected for onboarding, Scalar coordinates the required employment, compliance, background, and onboarding steps. Contractors are onboarded through Scalar Solutions on a W-2 basis.

Ongoing Technical Oversight:

Throughout the engagement, clients maintain direct access to:

  • Principal Consultants

  • Senior Subject Matter Experts

  • Escalation and performance support

We provide structured performance oversight and optional strategic consultation to ensure initiatives remain aligned with modernization goals.
